Pros
Good work culture, nice coworkers and very understanding of work/life balance and respecting these boundries.
Cons
Due to various reasons, upwards or sideways mobility may be a problem depending on the team you are a part of.

Current Employee, more than 1 year
Pros
Great work life balance culture on most teams, but not all are equally managed. Lots of company updates from the CEO. Local market focus and a lot of great volunteering from the company within communities. Diversity in employees and leaders.
Cons
Lack of leadership available to escalate issues in a timely manner due to frequent organizational changes. When issues are escalated, leadership does not act on those major concerns raised by analysts. Causes large turnover on teams that are chronically (ie over multiple years) overworked. No clear path or timeline to promotion. Compensation is not competitive enough to justify constantly working more than 40 hours. Raises did not keep up with inflation.

Pros
They will pay you on time PTO on holidays is nice Give you a raise based on inflation
Cons
Managers are very 'hands-off' but still issue orders and tasks despite not knowing any details about the project or application. Onboarding is non-existent. There are little to no growth opportunities. There is too much work to be done and on tight deadlines. There is no support network and rarely any available resources that can help with a project. Documentation is non-existent for every project I've worked on. Requirements and processes for your job will constantly changed without you knowing. No work-life balance. You will work over 40 hours a week with no compensated time.

CEO Approval
Business Outlook
Pros
Good benefits, 401 K match, bonus, company funded developmental courses and certifications
Cons
If you have aspirations outside your current business area (still within Florida Blue) and communicate those aspirations to your leadership in Grow conversations, they hold it against you when trying to advance in your current area.

Former Employee, less than 1 year
Pros
Decent pay , good breaks , easy work
Cons
Beware working with Florida Blue, I was terminated for having Covid-19 . I was feeling extremely sickly , but continued to work through it and at the end of the week , advised the training managers that I had been diagnosed with Covid-19 and was medically advised to take the next week off for full recovery . I notified staff and was advised by the training manager to put in my resignation . I told her that I was unwilling to do that , and felt like that was frivolous! I was contacted and approved by the contract tracing team of Florida Blue to do so and also make a Dr appt as soon as possible once recovered to ensure my health was in good standing . I scheduled a second Covid test and televisit appt the following week I came back from my week off upon approval from the contract tracing team and my training manager . The day I went for a second test, I notified staffing and was approved . That Friday I was terminated . I was ambushed into a meeting with the training manager and a lady who was supposed to been Hr. I was told that I was terminated due to my excessive absences and not notifying the training manager of my status every day of the week that I was out for . I have now emptied my entire savings to try to make living salvageable during this time until I can find another job . I say all of this to say , be aware of the companies that you are applying for and ensure that they can meet your values . I am 20 and was so excited to start my medical career . Florida Blue has left a bad taste in my mouth for the medical field. Not to mention the very rude staff ! This was my first work from home position and it was a total night mare ! Who sends a gift basket for your sickness just to fire you in the next few days !! Absolutely disgusting ! 3/10 would not recommend
